Terms & Conditions

Accra Auction Cars (AAC)

These Terms and Conditions govern all engagements with Accra Auction Cars, a vehicle sourcing and importation company.

By initiating a transaction with us, clients acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Service Overview

Accra Auction Cars (AAC) operates as a vehicle sourcing and import facilitation service. Our typical process includes:

  • The client specifies the type, model, and budget of the desired vehicle.
  • AAC searches for suitable options on verified auction or dealership platforms.
  • Upon client approval and full payment, AAC proceeds to purchase the vehicle.
  • Depending on the client's preference, AAC may also handle shipping and importation.

2. Client-Directed Purchases

  • Once a vehicle is sourced and approved by the client, full payment must be made upfront before any purchase is executed.
  • AAC purchases vehicles on behalf of the client and does not hold inventory.

3. Responsibility Based on Service Type

A. Full-Service (Purchase + Shipping through AAC):

  • AAC handles both the purchase and shipping process until the vehicle arrives at the destination port.
  • We will provide all relevant documentation (e.g., bill of lading, title, invoice, etc.) and assist with updates during transit.

B. Purchase Only (Shipping Handled by Client):

  • If the client chooses to take over shipping, all documentation is handed over after the vehicle purchase is completed.
  • From that point forward, AAC bears no responsibility for shipping delays, logistics issues, customs processes, or any other post-purchase matters.
  • AAC will not be liable for damage, loss, or delays once the vehicle is handed over to the client or their assigned shipper.

4. Vehicle Condition

  • All vehicles are sold as-is, based on auction or dealer condition reports.
  • Clients are encouraged to review all photos, inspection reports, and disclosures before approving a purchase.
  • AAC is not responsible for hidden faults not revealed in the provided documentation.

5. Refund, Cancellation, and Penalty Policy

  • Once a vehicle has been purchased on behalf of a client, no refunds or cancellations are allowed without penalty.
  • In the case that a client cancels after purchase, they will be liable to pay a penalty of 12% of the car's purchase value, as listed by the auction company (e.g., Copart).
  • If a transaction is cancelled before the vehicle is purchased, a refund may be issued plus any administrative and exchange rate charges.

6. Documentation

AAC will provide the following documentation based on the type of service:

  • Purchase invoice
  • Vehicle title (where applicable)
  • Shipping documents (if AAC handled shipping)
  • Auction report or inspection (if available)

7. Limitation of Liability

  • AAC acts solely as a facilitator and agent for vehicle purchases.
  • We are not the manufacturer or original seller, and therefore not liable for post-sale mechanical issues or third-party delays.
  • In "purchase-only" cases, AAC is absolved from all post-purchase processes.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any disputes shall be resolved under Ghanaian jurisdiction.
